MERLO P 40.17 OVERVIEW
The cab – the largest one in its class – is engineered to ensure safety, driving comfort, and visibility. The huge glazed area offers the operator excellent visibility in any direction. Both the windscreen and the rear window can beopened, and the steel frame of the cab complies with the international ISO 3449 FOPS Level 2 (Falling Object Protective Structure) standards and ISO 3471 ROPS (Roll-Over Protective Structures) standards. Additional front- and rear-mounted lights, available as options, ensure excellent visibility even in poor lighting conditions. The cab is supported by special elastic mounts, designed to reduce vibration and increase the driver’s comfort. For the same reasons, mechanical and hydraulic control assemblies are placed directly on the chassis, with all main services controlled electrically. The Panoramic range has skilfully evolved with exclusive technological innovations, the use of dedicated materials and an unparalleled level of safety. The stabilisers within the footprint of the machine do not increase its size when in use, allowing the user to stabilise the telehandler in any situation. The sideshift system of the boom allows lateral movements of up to 435mm without moving the machine.
