Due to our increased workload, we are looking for an experienced Agricultural Technician.

Agriculture background is desirable but not essential, and candidates with transferable skills from other industries would be considered. The successful candidate will ideally have a background and understanding of fault diagnosis, or the willingness to learn this.

We will provide manufacturer training of the products and the access to diagnostic equipment and manufacturer help portals. This role will suit a driven fast learner that takes pride in customer service and wants to develop their skills.

You will be working on a variety of equipment which includes Merlo Telescopic Handlers and Kubota Tractors as our main franchises.

Working both in the workshop and on farm, the job will be varied, at times technically challenging, and it requires working efficiently, in a tidy manner with good timely job reports and communication skills. A driving licence is also required.

We currently have a vacancy for a Agricultural Machinery Sales Representative.

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager / Branch Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling specialist and premium Agricultural Machinery (both new and used - including attachment and equipment) to farmers and farming businesses throughout your sales territory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure sales volume, market share and profit targets are achieved.
• Log all sales enquires with outcomes and follow up actions in CRM system.
• Provide customers with the relevant information regarding our franchised products.
• Attend appropriate shows and events during the year.
• Manage relationships with customers, including keeping in regular contact regarding events whilst maintaining a “customer focused” attitude.
• Ensure all enquiries and quotations are dealt with in a timely manner.
• Prospect using finance end dates and warranty end dates and actively prospecting new customers.
• Encompass the whole sales cycle from creating new leads/ opportunities through to delivery and customer follow up.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to both established and new customers.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards in line with company requirements.
• Complete and process sales paperwork and all administration in line with company processes.
• Use the company CRM to efficiently manage the territory and log all detail from prospect through to sale as required by company guidelines.
• Maintain regular contact with your colleagues and customers to help build stronger relationships
• Discuss all enquiries with your sales manager.
• Ensure any customer issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
